Bill Davidson was a three sports star-baseball, basketball, and track-at Woodrow Wilson High School, Camden, New Jersey. Upon graduation, he accepted a basketball scholarship to Temple University. At the completion of his freshman year, he signed a professional baseball contract with the New York Yankees. Bill enjoyed an eleven-year career and obtained his degree in education from Temple University in the baseball off-seasons. He received inductions into the South Jersey Baseball Hall of Fame, the South Jersey Basketball Hall of Fame, and the Camden County Sports Hall of Fame. Bill is retired, living with his wife Ellen, in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Bill has two sons from a previous marriage, and Ellen has two daughters and a son from a previous marriage.
