Michael Verrett has authored, illustrated, and or contributed to over 80 books. He primarily writes children's stories but has published a biography, chapter books, and novels. A current member of the Society of Children Book Writers and Illustrators and Creative Minds of Ponchatoula, LA, he is also the President of Spotlight Theater the regional acting troupe, and a former member of LSU's Operetta Chorus.
