Ohio-based Nancy Christie is the award-winning author of two short story collections, Traveling Left of Center and Other Stories and Peripheral Visions and Other Stories (published by Unsolicited Press), and three non-fiction books: The Gifts of Change (Atria/Beyond Words) and Rut-Busting Book for Writers and Rut-Busting Book for Authors (both by Mill City Press). Her third short fiction collection, Mistletoe Magic and Other Holiday Tales, will be released by Unsolicited Press in 2023. Her debut novel, Reinventing Rita, will be released June 2023 by BookBaby. Her short stories have appeared in numerous literary publications including The Saturday Evening Post, Commuter Lit, Goat's Milk Magazine, Ariel Chart, One Person's Trash, Two Cities Review, Talking River, Edify Fiction, Toasted Cheese, Wanderings, The Chaffin Journal and Down in the Dirt, among others, with several earning contest placements. A member of the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), Women's Fiction Writers Association (WFWA), and the Florida Writers Association (FWA), Christie is the host of the Living the Writing Life podcast and founder of the annual "Celebrate Short Fiction" Day.
