Jim Fitzsimmons, who qualified as a teacher in 1971, has had experience of teaching both junior and infant pupils. He began writing educational books in 1987 and in 1993 left teaching to take up writing full time. His published books include the `Home Learning Programme’ (Hodder Headline) and `Bright Ideas’ (Scholastic) series, and Hands on Display (Folens).
