Morena Stamm grew up in central Alberta as the third of four kids. She has her Bachelor of Communications degree at MacEwan University, in Edmonton, Alberta, in 2017. After graduating, she moved back to her home in rural Alberta so she could focus on her writing while pursuing her Masters in Intercultural and International Communication at Royal Roads University, in Victoria, B.C. She grew up reading every book she could get her hands on, for hours on end. This started her love for authors like Tamora Pierce, Rick Riordan, Scott Westerfield, Gail Carson Levine, and many countless more. These sparked her passion for the fantasy genre and sucked her into the endless world of fantasy and science fiction books, which she has yet to emerge from.
