Eric Walker (born 1964 in Simi, CA, died 1994 in Humboldt, CA) was a vital member of the poetry community in San Francisco and Berkeley in the 1980s, where he often read his poems in cafes and on the streets. His life was a brief and troubled one, and he battled schizophrenia, and ultimately died in prison from hanging. He had four chapbooks published in his lifetime by Tisa Walden's Deep Forest Press.
