Each book in the A Dinosaur Story series follows a group of dinosaur friends who get into some sticky situations but in doing so, helps them to learn about good manners and behaviour.

In Slip and Slide, Barap is finding it hard to share things with his twin sister and with his friends. He wants to have all the food and fun things to himself. But soon he finds out that not sharing isn't quite as good as he thought.

The A Dinosaur Story series is great to read aloud or to share with friends and family. Each book includes notes for parents, teachers and care-givers which give suggestions for how to reinforce and extend understanding of the message of each book.

The series also supports the Personal, Social and Emotional Development Area of Learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage, and is suitable for use with children in KS1. Suitable for children aged 3+.


Rocky Ravine

In Rocky Ravine, Steg has a tantrum because his parents won't let him out on his own. He stomps off with his friends but gets angry with them too. They see a rocky path up a mountain and Steg leads the way, even though the friends are scared. At the top, one of his friends slips down the mountainside but luckily they work together to rescue her. Steg apologises and realises that his anger has hurt and upset his friends and family. He learns ways he can keep calm.
