Book 7

Now that they can travel by teleportation circle, Rentt and Lorraine visit Vistelya, the capital of the Kingdom of Yaaran. Lorraine uses magic to hide their identities, and Rentt checks out the guild headquarters.

There, the duo gets involved with Augurey, an adventurer from Maalt. When Augurey clues in to their identities, he agrees to a magical contract to seal his lips. However, on the way to the temple of Hozei, the group comes across monsters attacking a carriage...with a surprising occupant! As if that isn’t enough, the God of Contracts herself shows up to oversee the whole affair. It’s one thing after another for Rentt and Lorraine!

Can they find peace and relaxation in Hathara after all this? Or are there more surprises in store?

Book 8

When Rentt senses something wrong with his familiar, Edel, he and Lorraine leave Hathara and return to the city of Maalt. They find the city in flames, swarming with thralls.

Rentt finds Edel safe beneath the orphanage. Through his familiar, our hero learns that a single vampire may be the cause of all the chaos. Matters are complicated when Rentt runs into Gold-class adventurer and vampire hunter, Nive Maris...who still suspects Rentt may be a vampire!

When they delve into the new dungeon, the group runs into another familiar face... Can Rentt cut his way through the web of complications before the vampire can execute his master plan?

Rentt Faina, a twenty-five-year-old adventurer, has been hacking away at monsters for a decade. Without much talent for the job, Rentt finds himself stuck hunting slimes and goblins for meager amounts of coin every day. Little does he know, all this is about to change when he comes across a seemingly undiscovered path in the Water Moon Dungeon.

What awaits him at the end of the path, however, is neither treasure nor riches, but a legendary dragon that wastes no time swallowing him whole! Waking up a short time later, Rentt finds himself not quite dead, but not very alive either— He is nothing more than a pile of bones! Armed with nothing but his trusty sword, tool belt, and ghoulish new looks, Rentt sets off on his quest as a newly reborn skeleton to achieve Existential Evolution, hoping to one day return to civilization with a more human form.

Will Rentt succeed, or will the dungeon consume him for the rest of his un-death...?

Rentt Faina has achieved Existential Evolution, evolving from a skeleton into a ghoul. His next objective: rising the ranks and becoming a Copper-class adventurer! But to do so, Rentt must face his next greatest challenge... A written test?!

Using his years of wisdom and the help of two companions, Rentt tackles the challenge head-on. But the worst is yet to come as Rentt finds himself in yet another pickle as he tries to prove his innocence to none other than trusted guild member, Sheila, as she raises concerns over his potential involvement in a recent string of adventurer disappearances.

On his journey, he accepts a new quest, leading him to a new area that pits him face-to-face with a mighty monster of the bog! Will Rentt make it out alive to prove his non-involvment in the disappearances and retrieve a highly-valued medicinal herb? Or is this the second end to the fate of our hero as we know him?

Rentt Faina, undead adventurer, reaches the next stage of Existential Evolution and becomes a lesser vampire!

Now short on funds, Rentt sets off to retrieve items necessary to craft equipment for his disciple, Alize. He heads to the New Moon Dungeon with his faithful mouse familiar Edel in tow. Rentt cuts a path through lizardmen and forest wolves, and even defeats the terra drake in the boss chamber. But as he presses on, he stumbles upon a legendary monster—an earth dragon!

Meanwhile, a Gold-class vampire hunter and a saint show up at the Stheno Company. They’re investigating the rumor of a certain adventurer being a vampire...

When Rentt Faina crosses paths with Nive Maris, he finds himself victim to a rain of Holy Fire! But rather than prove he’s a vampire, it disproves it! Lorraine believes Rentt’s divinity may have protected against the Holy Fire, and together they decide to make for Hathara, where Rentt obtained his divinity.

Before Rentt and Lorraine can depart Maalt, they first need to create wands and equipment for their disciple, Alize. To avoid trouble with others like Nive, Rentt has to negotiate with the Guildmaster, Wolf Hermann, to have his double registration officially approved. But as Wolf oversees countless ruffians, this’ll be no easy task!

An undead with a dream, eternally striving for the rank of Mithril-class!

Rentt Faina, the undead adventurer, arrives at his hometown of Hathara. He’s joined by Lorraine, a scholar and sorcerer. The villagers are all excited to meet Lorraine, and to celebrate Rentt’s return, they throw the two a welcome banquet. During the banquet, Rentt slips out. Lorraine finds him at a graveyard, where he reveals the incident that motivated him to become a Mithril-class adventurer.

Our undead adventurer’s journey continues! But this time, not only does he have to face off against powerful monsters, he also uncovers decades-old secrets that involve not just his hometown, but also the Faina family themselves...

After meeting Ferrici, Rentt and his party manage to wrap up their guild requests without a hitch. But they can’t let their guards down just yet, for the mysterious third assassin is still out there, waiting to strike!

Worse yet, there’s more to the situation than meets the eye. After a certain surprise, Rentt finds himself embroiled in the criminal underworld, where his every decision affects not just himself, but also Lorraine, the Grand Guildmaster of Yaaran, and even the kingdom’s royal family!
