Book 1
An ex-cult member and an ex-god walk into a bar… or rather, a famed lost city.
My name is Emery Morgan, and I can tell you exactly where the city of Atlantis is. Hint: it’s not at the bottom of an ocean.
For two years I’ve been exiled from the Atlantis Realm. Why? I committed a crime, and that was believing blindly in the wrong people.
Now, I intend to return and make amends. With the help of a highly questionable ex-god, I succeed in the return part but manage to commit a new crime. Yep—an excellent start to my betterment plan.
Forced to work for the city of Atlantis to retrieve a stolen and magical crown jewel, I must face ghosts, thieves, and avoid the police. Yet all that pales compared to the cruel magic that’s too closely connected to my past.
If my new and reluctant ex-god partner and I don’t deliver the gem, we risk being exiled and sent back Earthside. And that is if we even survive an onslaught of enslaved spirits…

Emery Morgan is a convicted criminal in the eyes of Lanteans, including her neighbors and the state.
But with more than one magical crown jewel missing, she and her reluctant partner, Loki, are the ones they send… because they’re expendable.
The Enchanted Flatlands seem innocuous enough, but Emery soon finds herself trapped by steppe tribe rituals, suddenly responsible for, and tied to, a young tribesman. When a magical curse darkens the sunny plains and exposes a cruel streak, she and Loki are blamed, and retrieving the gem becomes the least of their problems.
Now, they have to escape to survive.
And yet, salvation might come from the most cynical of the two.
And if they even make it back home to Atlantis, nothing but hostility awaits…
Book 3
The past is returning. Time to decide which side to stand on this time!
A Lantean queen will be crowned in mere days, and one magical crown jewel is still missing. Tasked with retrieving it, Emery and Loki set out on a risky theft that threaten their freedom if caught. If they succeed, however, having their most recent crime stricken from the record might finally be within reach.
But things are not as they seem in Atlantis, and when an old threat reemerge, Emery must choose which side to stand on. The right side? Or the familiar one?
The answer to that should be obvious, but when even Loki questions her motives, she must prove that she has not fallen back into bad habits… no matter how tempting…
Fighting against the full force of greedy mages and magical gemstones, Emery and Loki have a short window if they are to save the city.
But will it be worth it to stay in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Will anyone believe criminals like them to have a hand in any good deed anyway?
Never mind a clean record. It won’t matter if they don’t make it out alive…
