Book 1

Too Many Aliens

by Bruce Coville

Published 20 April 2000

Pleskit's new in school. He's also purple, bald and has a single stalk growing out of the top of his head. It's going to be an interesting first term...

Pleskit's pen-pal Maktel, is making a short visit to Earth. But it's difficult having two best friends in the same town. And when Tim and Maktel form a friendship of their own, things get tricky for Pleskit... Until all three of them are brought together by the news that a powerful alien force is plotting to sabotage the Fatherly One's plans for Earth. Can the boys help save the mission?

Book 2

When Tim Tompkins comes home and finds a two foot high orange alien called Beebo Frimbat sitting at his desk, he knows he's in for a hard time. After all, Beebo is a dedicated mischief-maker who thinks trouble is the spice of life. But even Beebo's past pranks don't prepare Tim for finding his underwear flying from a school flagpole.

Still, it's all in fun. Or is it? Do Beebo's pranks have anything to do with the plan to derail the mission of the Fatherly One? And is it really just an accident when Beebo locks Pleskit's faithful bodyguard into an alternate dimension populated by man-eating monsters?

Book 3

When the first Ambassador to Earth sends his son, Pleskit, to a state school, the young alien has to deal with all the same things new kids in school have to cope with (he doesn't fit in, his father is a dork, no one understands him) only on a much grander scale. This is the first of twelve stories told by both Pleskit and his classmate, Tim, as Pleskit makes friends and enemies, meets girls for the first time, gets a bad report card, deals with prejudice and uses his superior knowledge to shrink the teacher. Told in the inimitable Coville way, with slapstick, humour and (just once or twice!) a little bit of insight into the human condition, these are a must for all Coville fans.

Book 4

Alien Pleskit Meenom and his friend Tim borrow a shrinking ray to teach the annoying tease Jordan Lynch a lesson, but their plan goes awry when they accidentally shrink themselves and their teacher Ms. Weintraub.

Pleskit decides it's the perfect thing to take into class for show and tell. But somehow the brain gets mislaid at school, and unless Pleskit tracks it down fast, it doesn't look like Grandpa will ever find his way home...
