Ciba Foundation Symposium
1 total work
This international symposium deals with the central role of calcium in intracellular processes that range from contraction to enzyme activation, exocytosis, cell proliferation, and early embryonic development. Latest research into the molecular biology of calcium-binding proteins such as troponin C and calmodulin, and calcium pumps of plasma sarcoplasmic membranes, is discussed. The symposium should interest research workers in cell biology, cell physiology and molecular biology; it is also relevant to pharmacologists, neurophysiologists and endocrinologists who are concerned with fundamental cell regulatory processes. Edited discussions are included in full.
