Offers a collection of ideas for mathematical projects using a cross-curricular approach and popular primary school themes. The aim is to support teachers in retaining the best of child-centred cross-curricular teaching, while ensuring that the requirements of the National Curriculum in maths are met. Suggestions are made for mini-projects to class or whole-school projects, both short and long-term. Themes covered include shopping, sports and games, maths in town, journeys, houses and homes, food and time.
