A major reading scheme for the teaching of reading and the development of literacy throughout the primary years. Ollie is a highly illustrated, short narrative with a familiar setting that children will be able to identify with. When Tom and Zoƫ find Ollie on the edge of the wood, they're not even sure he's a dog. But he very quickly becomes part of the family. Then one day he disappears. Ollie is one of thirteen high quality, attractive books that make up Independent Reading Level A, for children in Year 3/Primary 4. This phase of Cambridge Reading aims to extend children's experience of fiction and motivate them to enjoy reading.
