When a spaceship crash-lands on Apokolips, Darkseid takes a personal interest in examining and looking after its deadly cargo...which, of course, isn't good news for the residents of New Genesis, home of the New Gods...or the Man of Steel. Darkseid unleashes his new weapon just as Superman is visiting New Genesis...and an Alien-infected invasion force is soon tearing its way through the previously peaceful contryside. Superman knows only too well what he's up against. The last time he came up against the Alien horde, he almost died! The situation becomes more grave and Superman must come up with a desperate plan to take the fight back to Apokolips and try and put an end to the Alien invasion.
