Designed to provide teachers with a variety of resources focusing on maths skills or curriculum knowledge, this pack includes photocopiable worksheets, lesson plans and a poster which features a 0-99 number square and, in colour, five number lines: 0-10 in 1's, 0-20 in 1's, 0-100 in 10's, 0-1,000 in 100s and -10-10 in 1s. The lines are intended for introducing pattern and place value to KS1 children in an interactive way, while the number square is an important whole-class teaching resource and is provided with activities to look at patterns to be found by counting up, down and diagonally. The photocopiable sheets in this book reflect the content of the poster, and the lesson plans are structured to support direct teaching of the whole class followed by differentiated group and individual work.
