Toot travels to India without his friend Puddle. He meets an elephant that carries Toot around the city. He returns home with a carved elephant for Puddle. Puddle doesn't need a gift, but in the words of Puddle that Toot can't remember, "Because friendship and flowers both grow as long as you take care of them."
Toot wants to fly like a bird, so he persuades Puddle to join him for skydiving lessons. "You only have to watch, Puddle," he says. They learn to jump as if they were jumping from a plane. They practice on a trampoline. When the big day comes, Puddle looks on as Toot’s plane takes off. With a little encouragement from his instructor, Toot is soon soaring through the air. And Puddle is on the ground, ready to remind him to bend his knees upon impact. Both friends feel great about their roles in another amazing Toot and Puddle adventure.
