The author has worked closely with a real-life family to produce an honest book about the experience of being part of a stepfamily from the point of view of the children involved. Judy, her sister, and step-brothers and sisters talk about what it was like to begin with, how they had to get used to different routines and each other - but also what it's like to have new brothers and sisters to play with, and extra parents too, as well as twice as many presents at Christmas time! The book is suitable for use in Personal and Social Education classes with Key Stage 2 children.
