Meet your guides, two real-life shark experts (Valerie and Ron Taylor), who provide their own, unique eyewitness accounts of what it is like to explore the world's underwater environments. Dive through the 'layers' of the sea, from the sunlit zone, through the twilight zone, until finally reaching the abyss. Visit the seabed to find out more about the plants, animals and ghostly shipwrecks that can be found there. Along the way, peer through die-cut portholes inside the Titanic, lift the acetate to reveal the inside of a submarine and use the divider tabs to move easily from one chapter to the next. The journey ends with the as yet unexplored regions of the ocean.
