Measures, Shape and Space covers the fourth strand of the National Numeracy Strategy Framework for Teaching Mathematics. For each year group, from Reception to Year 6, there is a single book that covers all the key objectives with over 50 original puzzles, games and writing formats.
A photocopiable activity book for the daily mathematics lesson, covering the Calculations strand of the Numeracy Strategy. This volume is designed for use with Year 5 pupils, and provides independent activities for the main part of the lesson. There is a mix of traditional worksheets, puzzles and games to support the learning of the main four calculation methods. Answers are included, and there are practical teaching notes in the introduction.
