It is assumed that the book is used in conjunction with classroom teaching and/or as a revision aid. L.E. Snellgrove's numerous works include `Suffragettes and Votes for Women', `The Modern World since 1870' and `The Early Modern Age'. This book is divided up into 35 topics, or Work Units. Each topic has an extended introduction, the purpose of which is to stimulate interest and discussion, to help understanding and to help with revision.
