Our Garden Year

Five children lovingly tend their garden and tell in their own words what they do month by month round the year. Preparing the earth, raking, sowing seeds, weeding and watering, gradually the plants grow until the garden is full of colour and fragrant flowers. Then, as the seasons change again, the children plant bulbs for the spring, sweep autumn leaves, pick the last of the apples and gather holly for Christmas. With its pages filled with garden activities children actually can do for themselves and its informative pictures, this gardening book is one which children will want to pick and really use. At the end of the book is a decorative chart showing just what the children did through the year. The author also wrote "From Me To You".
