This is part of the "Europe in Transition" series for A Level geography and equivalent. Regional knowledge has been identified as a weakness in exam candidates, and these texts tackle that problem through an approach that integrates detailed locational information with easily identifiable core A Level topics and themes. This text studies the Yorkshire region and a variety of geographical issues found there. From coastal management to high-tech industries, national parks, floods and water shortages, the issues are studies in depth using a variety of resources.
