Making moral decisons is a core module of the Higher Still Religious Studies courses in Scotland. The text is written for intermediate 1 and 2 and can be followed as a complete course or by taking stand alone units. Each section of the book introduces a different topic area and examines the subject from various standpoints. There are classroom tasks to accompany each topic, as well as whole course activities which develop knowledge, understanding and evaluation skills.

Written to match the unit within the Scottish National Qualifications for Religious Studies at Access and Intermediate 1 level, this is a stand alone text, although it follows the same format as the mainstream text "Making Moral Decisions" for Intermadiate 1 and 2. The mainstream text has been simplified and some content replaced with word lists to support students' learning. This book includes thought-provoking case studies and examples designed to engage all students in the issues involved. Where appropriate, Scottish examples are used to provide a more familiar context. Activities are found in every chapter, together with Access level questions providing practice for unit assessment.
