Much anticipated by fans of Doctor Who both old and new, Big Finish are delighted to welcome Alex Kingston back again to reprise her River Song character first seen in 2008 on TV. Aside from her iconic turn in Doctor Who, Alex Kingston's well known in both the UK and US for her regular roles in E.R., Arrow, Upstairs Downstairs, and The Knock. In series three, River seeks to save the fifth incarnation of her husband the Doctor (Peter Davison) from Madame Kovarian (Frances Barber) - who just because she's killed him once, doesn't mean to stop trying. 3.1 - The Lady in the Lake by Nev Fountain. On Terminus Prime, clients choose their own means of demise. Something exciting, meaningful, or heroic to end it all. But when River discovers that there are repeat customers, she knows something more is going on. She begins to uncover a cult with worrying abilities. Its members can apparently cheat death, and that's not all they have in common with River. 3.2 - A Requiem for the Doctor by Jac Rayner. River has joined the Doctor and his friend Brooke on their travels, and they stop off in 18th century Vienna. Brooke thinks history is dull. Until people start dying. River Song has many ways to amuse herself away from her husband. And with access to the Doctor’s diary, she knows exactly when he might be around, and when best to slip in unnoticed and liberate valuable trinkets…But first of all, she must ensure he makes it out of Totters Lane alive! An Unearthly Woman by Matt Fitton. Coal Hill School has a new member of staff: an educated woman, who seems to specialise in every subject. Meanwhile, teachers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright have concerns over the behaviour of one of their pupils. Susan Foreman is intrigued by Dr Song, but something else is stalking her in the darkness and fog of London, 1963… The Web of Time by John Dorney. The capital has been evacuated. Monsters stalk the Underground. For River, it’s the perfect opportunity to steal a priceless artwork, so long as she can avoid looters, soldiers and an alien invasion.
