A `big book’ presentation of an important biblical story. This retelling uses simple language and short sentences which make it ideal for new readers or for sharing with a group of new or non-readers. Colour illustrations complement the text – both setting the scene for Jesus’ storytelling and illustrating the story itself. Brief notes about using the book are included on the final page for parents or teachers .The story of Zacchaeus is specifically mentioned in the QCA scheme of work at Reception level.
