How we parent comes from who we are. The way we treat our children and the ways we respond in the joyful and the challenging aspects of being mothers are a reflection of our faith and our discipleship in the Lord Jesus. These studies will help us let God use the context of motherhood to form and shape us into the women he has created us to be, deepening who we are as people, as followers of Jesus and as parents.

We live in a culture that does not always emphasise doing what is right, that does not always encourage us to choose the way of personal integrity in the face of opposition. The story of Esther is about developing godly character, and it speaks to us in profound ways about these issues. It is a wonderful account of God's sovereignty and provision, told with humour, irony and contrast.
