Continental Calvinism

by Mark Greengrass

Published 31 March 1995
This book is the first serious attempt to discuss the development and acceptance of Calvinism as a movement which affected all Europe and thereby puts the life of John Calvin and earlier literature, which has concentrated on the affects of Calvinism at one time or in one country, into context. The aim of this generic synthesis is to provide a basic and essential guide for teachers and Macmillan expects it to become a classic text for this purpose.
