The Fitzpatrick’s are extremely wealthy for a number of things. Vivica Weston has been married to the same Fitzpatrick three times but has been in love with a Knight since her childhood. Her older sister Tiffany married that Knight. Cliff Knight the current CEO of the Knight Motor Company. He loves Tiffany but he might still love Vivica. He definitely doesn’t love Nial. When Vivica takes on the catwalk during a local fashion show, international modeling agent, Myles Madwell of the Madwell Modeling Agency takes a liking to her look. He offers her the chance to model in NYC for the summer. The only issue? The only person available to chaperone is town bigot, Mrs. Templeton! Meanwhile, in Amsterdam Cliff learns some hard truths about his family and grows close to his cousin Luke. Things are going great until Luke's girlfriend Petra starts to get close with Cliff too.

In 2018, Margot Fitzpatrick the daughter of famed couple Nadia and Brandon Fitzpatrick run The Fitzpatrick Group for her semi-retired parents. When her son Perry returns to town, she is forced to welcome him back into the company. Perry starts up a friendship with Lucy Kingsley the business partner of the missing in action Vivica Weston-Fitzpatrick-Knight-Fitzpatrick-Fitzpatrick possibly soon to be Knight again if her maid and best friend Holly is able to find her. Her fiancé and the longtime love of her life Cliff Knight has had no success in finding her himself. Meanwhile, Lucy's younger sister Langley struggles to keep her romance with Vivica's son and Margot's nephew Brad as their views on life are entirely different. It doesn't help when Brad's cousin and best friend Harry Knight start a friendship and possible relationship with mobster's son Preston Costa.
