Selected children's books key into Year 4 Term 1 Range requirements of the National Strategy Framework for Teaching. The teachers' book matches these objectives from the framework: discussing and comparing story themes; predicting endings and incidents; re-telling stories; identifying and describing characters; using story structure in writing.
