Designed for teachers in industry, commerce and education, this text describes a collection of stimulating activities, role-playing games and other interactive learning exercises which can be used to break down the initial reserve imposed by classroom conditions, and to create a more relaxed and productive training atmosphere. Part 1 explains how to use the icebreakers provided, how to choose them for specific groups, how to run the exercises and how to adapt them to particular situations. Part 2 contains 50 icebreaker exercises, each with notes indicating the time, materials and number of players required, the procedures, players' notes, game sheets, checklists and other handouts.
