An updated version of "C/NL2 for Windows", this package runs on Windows '95, Windows NT and Windows 3.1. It enables users to analyze and optimize gain, return loss, noise performance and nonlinear distortion of a variety of linear RF and microwave circuits. The package also allows users to import circuits with multiple couple lines or export a set of port impedances into "MATCHNET", which can then synthesize a matching network for the port.

These disks represent an upgrade of the first version of the software and are now for Windows. C/NL2 is a powerful circuit analysis and optimization program for use on a PC. It now runs under Windows to give a modern graphical user interface, sophisticated graphs and input/output and mouse interface. The C/NL2 allows the user to analyze and optimize gain, return loss, noise performance and nonlinear distortion of a wide range of linear RF and microwave circuits. It is a full-up linear microwave/RF circuit stimulator as well as a nonlinear one. C/NL2 for Windows improvements include: sparse-matrix analysis allowing a greater number of nodes in each subcircuit and faster analysis of large circuits; improved optimizers; improved models; more types of circuit elements; multiple ports; equation parser; and nodal noise analysis giving all four noise parameters. System requirements: IBM PC 386 or later (386SX or 386DX with coprocessor 80387), 486SX with coprocessor (80487 or 486DX), 5 MB hard-disk space, 4 MB of RAM, mouse, MS Windows 3.1 or later, DOS version 5.0 or higher recommended. Compiling user-defined models requires Borland C++.
Previous purchasers of "C/NL: Linear and Nonlinear Microwave Circuit Analysis and Optimization Software and User's Manual", versions 1.0 and 2.0 are eligible to receive a special price for this upgraded version. Please contact Artech House for pricing information.
