CD-ROM 1: Investigations and Enquiries, provides a series of activities to cover the key content of the American West. Activities range from Flash-based animations and source-based labelling activities, to MovieMaker and Voting exercises. Image and Source Banks are also provided. CD-ROM 2: Review and Revise, comprises activities to enable students to review and consolidate their learning, test their knowledge and develop their revision and examination skills. Features such as 'Maps in the American West' enable students to develop a clearer picture of the overall story of this period in American history. The activities provided on both CD-ROMs offer alternative outcomes for higher and lower ability students, and with the inclusion of the Image and Source Banks the Lesson Builder can be used to adapt the resources to your own class' needs.
