Autumn in New England brings out the changing leaves, and the leaves bring out the tourists. When Brenna Miller gets stuck as the tour guide for a group of leaf peepers, she tries to make the best of it. But it's hard to stay enthusiastic after the trial leads them straight to a dead body.
Brenna Miller's never been one for gossip, so when the whispers start about Tara Montgomery's engagement, she'd just as soon stay out of it. She's happy to prepare decoupage wedding favors, and even tag along on the bridesmaids' party - but waking Tara up the morning after turns out to be a bit more than Brenna bargained for ...
