Yehudi Menuhin made his violin debut at the age of seven, and thereafter played all over the world with the most famous conductors of his day. He then made the transition from violin virtuoso to conductor, and was made a life peer in 1993. He holds the Nehru Peace Prize for International Understanding and the title of Ambassador of Goodwill to UNESCO. This autobiography covers the last 20 years of his life.
