The last in the "Great Battles" series covers the Vietnam war from France's involvement in Indo-China through the American campaigns of the 1960s and 70s to the fall of Saigon. Using previously unpublished photos and eye witness accounts it presents a vivid portrait of fighting conditions in the jungle. Dimensional computer maps detailing topography and troop movements, full colour reconstructions of individual aspects of battles, together with profiles of commanders, descriptions of weaponry and a concise account of the political climate combine to make this an interesting account of the war.
