Out of the Cocoon by William Leisner. Centuries ago two sets of colonists were transported to new worlds. Over a decade ago the Starship Enterprisebrought the colonies back together. But the union has not been as fruitful as Captain Picard had hoped, and the S.C.E. has been called in to solve the colonists' problems -- but will the solution make the situation worse?
Honorby Kevin Killiany. Repairing an observation post, P8 Blue and Dominica Corsi find themselves caught in an interplanetary conflict. Corsi and Blue must risk breaking the Prime Directive in a fight they know they may not even win.
Blackout by Phaedra M. Weldon. When a Federation world suffers a planet-wide blackout, the S.C.E. comes to the rescue. Linguist Bart Faulwell is given a special assignment -- but the fallout threatens to destroy not only the world of Asario, but the USS da Vincias well.
The Cleanupby Robert T. Jeschonek. During the Dominion War, the Miradorn allied themselves with the Dominion. Now the S.C.E. team must deactivate the devices the Dominion left behind, which threaten the very existence of the Miradorn.
