World Issues offers a new and exciting approach to tackling such issues as: War and Peace, Culture and Race, Human Rights, Riches and Poverty. With sections entitled Equality and Punishment, and Let's fight, forming the basis of an engaging range of questions and activities. There's plenty of opportunity for discussion as views from different world religions provide the forum for debate on moral dilemmas. The book is aimed at Key Stage 3 students, but can be used for non-GCSE Key Stage 4 pupiils. It also provides ideal preparation for the GCSE short course. The book looks at the response of various faiths to these different moral issues. The unique repeated four page format of the book provides two pages of introduction to each unit a page focusing on religious responses and a page of activities and homework ideas.
