This teacher's pack accompanies "Directions Book 1" and "Directions Book 2". The material has been specially written for lower ability GCSE pupils and entrants for the AEB basic tests in Geography and Geography for Tourism and Leisure. Developed with the Geographical Association, the texts have been carefully written and produced to take account of the needs of pupils working at these levels. The teacher's guide offers pratical advice on teaching special needs geography and is an integral part of the "Directions" course and relates directly to the contents of the pupil's books. Detailed notes accompany the work in the pupil's books and there are extension activities and photocopiable worksheets on all the main topics. In addition, there are notes on tackling coursework and fieldwork, and references to useful software packages.
