This teacher's guide contains lesson plans with pre- and post-viewing activities, ideas on how to integrate fitness concepts into other parts of a curriculum and reproducible activity sheets to reinforce fitness concepts and challenge students. The programme should be as easy to use for classroom teachers as it is for physical education specialists. The programme is designed to be implemented in the classroom. No special equipment is needed and the videos show children how to use their own personal classroom space. Each videotape in the series contains 15-minute lessons on a specific fitness topic: Volume One - lifetime fitness, cardiorespiratory fitness, strength and endurance, flexibility and body composition; Volune Two - fitness, training principles, warm-up/cool down, speed and power, co-ordination and agility; and Volume Three - all fit workout, body design, balance, posture, stress and relaxation.
