Creating memories through images such was the motto of the war correspondents in the armies of their nations. This souvenir album is a simple pedagogical tool recalling, in this case, the Canadian Landings on the beach codenamed JUNO by the Allied planners of D-Day, June 6th, 1944. It is also a moving collection of moments of tension, combat, drama and victory, often blended together and immortalized by the lenses of those war correspondents for posterity. It is also a stroll through all of those welcoming coastline villages, which stand looking towards the future, but unable to forget the past.
