Fleabag Trilogy

The three popular stories about the mangy, three-legged, street-wise Fleabag are brought together in one volume. Fleabag and the Fire Cat introduces us to the world of the Ring Fire and to Gemma the kitchen maid with her powers of reading the flame. In Fleabag and the Ring Fire cat and girl combine to seek the Queen's ring which must be found to prevent the fall of the kingdom, and in Fleabag and the Ring's End a new challenge has to be overcome: the evil power of the wizards of Porthwain.
When Queen Sophia dies, the magic flame in her opal ring is given to The Fire Wielder, and the ring itself is hidden, to be found by the next worthy successors. Loyal Kitchen-maid Gemma and the haughty Lady Knight, Rowanne de Montiland, go on a year long quest to find it, guided by a clowning and unpredictable talking cat, Fleabag. The trio experience many perils as they travel 'north by northwest,' not least facing hunger, cold, robbers, wolves and marriage proposals. Gemma is a girl who gets cold and faint and worried and yet she demonstrates her real qualities when she saves the life of the robber, Phelan, and insists on going back for Rowanne, when she is ensnared in the sumptuous palace of a cruel prince. Phelan too, is a lad who is frequently sad, full of self- doubt, and sometimes all to ready to end his life, or run away, so as not to be a burden, but by the end of the book he uses his wit and sheer bravery to overcome the most deadly of foes, proving his worth and sealing his future. Fleabag weaves in and out of the story, lacing it with humour, dead rodents and deep love for Gemma.
Another fantastic, rip-roaring adventure of the mangy, three-legged talking cat, Fleabag, and his companions Gemma and Phelan. In this adventure the struggle between good and evil continues. The Porthwain wizards try one last time to take control of the Ring, planning to persuade lady knight Rowanne to join their cause. She has always wanted more power and there is a rumour that a particle of evil blue dust blew into her eyes during the last battle between the Ring Bearer and the Chief Wizard… As ever, the redoubtable Fleabag is never far away. He and a mysterious minstrel called Kern join forces in the quest to find the Ring’s End and thus defeat the evil blue magic. But Fleabag has to make one last, great sacrifice to save his beloved mistress Gemma.
A talking cat, a warrior princess, magic, mystery and adventure. The second exciting Fleabag fantasy. Life at court has made Gemma complacent about her responsibilities as keeper of the Ring Fire. She fails to notice that the good of her people is threatened. When a jealous courtier seeks to imitate Gemma's power he successfully deceives, and then kidnaps, her. He weaves a spell that confuses her memory and transports her to a distant island. Talking cat Fleabag the Fire Cat, and lady knight Rowanne seek to rescue her, but it is ultimately up to Gemma to use the Ring Fire against the dark forces now threatening the kingdom.
