This handbook provides 35 outdoor party themes for children from two to twelve years of age. It includes advice on invitations, costumes, decorations, games, activities, food, cakes, little presents, variations and helpful organisers' hints. The parties can be thrown in the back garden, in the local park, in the country, or any outdoor space. Ideas include: an archaeology expedition, with kid-sized pyramids, mummies and mystery maps; a circus, with lion taming, tightrope walking and clown cakes; a hayride stunt, with bicycle slalom, leaping limbo and other physically challenging games; and space - the final frontier, with alien invaders, flying saucers and model rocket building.
