This series of photographic information books concentrates on the daily lives and experiences of children in countries around the world. Each book focuses on a particular child's day: from waking up, through breakfast, going to school, learning, travelling home, playing and getting ready for bed. Nii Kwei gets up at six o'clock sharp every morning. He takes out the rubbish and helps his sisters and brother tidy up the compound, then he eats breakfast of "coco" (corn porridge), bread, fried eggs and a chocolate drink. At 7.30 he goes to school in a taxi. Later, on his way home, he goes to Abraham's material store with his mother and enjoys looking at all the bright colours and bold patterns. He ends the day playing football with his cousins, back at the compound.
