The Dreamseeker Trilogy
3 primary works Complete
Book 1
Silver Cloud, a wild horse who is noble, brave, fast and strong, roams the plains. He belongs to a society which is more sophisticated and peaceful than that of the neighbouring human tribe which now, on the verge of extinction, needs his help. Silver Cloud's ruling spirit, Ghost Horse, sets him the task of saving them and, as Red Hawk, the leader of the tribe, is old and dying, his young grandson, Four Winds, is sent to accompany him. Silver Cloud and Four Winds must complete three tasks which will redeem the tribe, but during their journey they must battle against evil animal spirits:the snake-haired monster, Thadadaho, the shape-shifter Yietso, and the flame-eyed Unktehi, as well as face the storms, fires and earthquakes that threaten their quest.
Book 2
Four Winds and his spirit horse, Silver Cloud, now face the second task set down by Ghost Horse - to fetch a feather from the highest mountain. They travel north, crossing forests filled with bears, coyotes and wolves. Along the way they come across their old adversary, Thadodaho, the evil thunder spirit with snake-hair, turtle claws and the feet of a bear. But to get to the summit of Mount Kivioq they must face their most powerful enemy so far, in the shape of Iron Eyes: a treacherous and cruel wolf spirit with an awesome helper . . .
Book 3
The young warrior, Four Winds, has battled hard to complete two of the three quests set for him by Ghost Horse, in order to save his tribe. Snake Eye's 'Wild Dogs' have regrouped and The Comanches seek revenge for the death of their chief. So, before he can begin his final journey to fetch a breath of wind from the furthest ocean, Four Winds must stay on the snow-bound slopes and fight a desperate battle.
