Focusing on young, disabled Asian people and their families, this report: presents evidence of how young, disabled Asian people experience disability; explores the meaning and experience of disability within the context of family relationships; questions the relevance of the social model of disability to the experience of young disabled Asian people; addresses weaknesses in current policy and practice.
