Distinguished by its complex energy concept and high architectural quality, this 2-story highrise on the World Exposition site in Hanover, Germany is an oustanding example of an office building attuned to environmental needs. This book explains the concepts related to the energy balance of the building. This played a major role in the design of the buidling which makes optimum use of solar and wind energy, ensuring that the costs of the complex and day-to-day energy supply are considerably below those of comparable modern administration buildings.
