Book 1
Thamos, Count of Thebes, is the last keeper of an eternal knowledge, keeping alive the secrets of the pharaohs. Now he has been entrusted with a vital mission. He must leave Egypt for the cold lands of Europe to find and protect the 'Great Magician', a genius whose works will save humanity from chaos. When he encounters a child prodigy, a six-year-old composer lauded throughout Prague, Vienna and Frankfurt, Thamos senses that he's found the one. Is this young musician really the 'Great Magician' foretold by Osiris, the one who can pass on the light of the East to humanity? And if he is, can Thamos succeed in saving the boy from the traps that lie in wait for him?

First a symphony and then a song . . . Mozart can never stop composing. It's as if his life depends on it. But this deeply angers his employer, the Prince-Archbishop of Salzburg, who will not tolerate the slightest disobedience. So the rebellious young musician decides to get away from the court of his oppressive patron once and for all by moving to Vienna, where he will finally meet the love of his life, Constance Weber.
Meanwhile, Thamos, Count of Thebes and Mozart's ever-faithful Egyptian companion, accompanies him to the city. One of the last members of a spiritual brotherhood, keeping alive the secrets of the pharaohs, his mission is to find and protect the 'Great Magician' foretold by Osiris, a genius whose works will save humanity.
Convinced that he has found the one in young Mozart, there is no time to lose in instructing his young protégé in the Masonic rites inspired by the Egyptian Great Mysteries. But in doing so, Thamos and Mozart find themselves in great danger. For the governing powers will not tolerate what they take to be the first steps towards revolution . . .

Believing that he has found the One in popular young musician, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, he succeeds in initiating him in the Masonic rites inspired by the Egyptian Great Mysteries. Now Mozart has thrown himself into the rituals, in which he finds inspiration for two new operas - Figaroand Don Giovanni.
In love, and the father of a young son, Mozart's career is advancing, the commissions keep flowing in and famous singers knock on his door . . . until new menaces cast a shadow over his future. Menace from the powers-that-be, who fear the influence of the Masonic Lodges and put them under police surveillance; Menace, too, from jealous musicians - such as Salieri, who makes an attempt to sabotage Mozart's concerts.

Supported by his friend Thamos, Count of Thebes, and encouraged by the Masonic Lodge, Mozart finds the energy to accomplish his greatest work - The Magic Flute, which will reveal the Mysteries of Isis and Osiris to the world and pave the way to enlightenment.
