A set of religious scrolls have been in the family of Alexander Renaldo Mendeneres for centuries - ever since 1200 AD when a heavenly messenger was sent to earth to choose a good man, a trustworthy scribe to record the gods' predictions for the future of man. Now in the twenty-first century, Alexander's evil and conniving wife has stolen the priceless articles and taken them to the United States, her intention to find an interested - and wealthy - buyer for them.
