by Jane Bingham

Published 13 May 2004
This book looks at how some partnerships and marriages can break down, and the effect this can have on the whole family. It explores the emotions felt by everybody involved in the break up, and shows how counselling can help. It explains the effect a break up can have on children, and looks at practical issues, such as where and with whom the child may live. The book concludes by discussing how everyone's lives eventually settle down, and looks at the happiness that relationships with new step family members can bring. It includes case studies and quotes from people with experience of family break up.
