Good Night, Copycub

by Richard Edwards

Published 1 September 2003
Copycub can't get to sleep. He turns one way and then the other but he just doesn't feel sleepy. All his wriggling wakes up his mother who tells him the story of a sleeping goose on a lake, a snoozing moose in the shadows, a snug little hare in the grass and of a little bear who likes to copy everything that the other animals do. Copycub thinks of all the warm and sleeping animals safe and sound outside his cosy bear cave and his eyes start to feel have and he falls fast asleep.
